Description
AVOCET is the early version of the Grand Banks 46 Classic originally called the 46 Motor Yacht. Not to be confused with the later Motor Yacht with it’s aft cabin that goes gunnel to gunnel and all the way to the stern this model has a slightly wider aft cabin and the drop cockpit that has made the 46 Classic the most popular of the Grand Banks

2 anchors, anchor davit, bow pulpit with rails, electric anchor windless, stainless steel side stanchions, teak flag poles fore and aft, fiberglass deck with signature Grand Banks teak overlay, saltwater & freshwater wash down, Hot and cold shower on aft deck, fenders and lines life jackets, Navigation lights, spreader lights, transom door, teak swim platform and boarding ladder, varnished teak transom and handrails, teak name boards and hailing port. ( All of Avocets varnish has been stripped to bare wood and refinished with Epifanes varnish in 2000)

Avocet was hauled in January of 2005 a complete bottom job was completed including new zincs and two coats of Sea Hawk applied to her hull. Avocet’s hull is Blister free.
